Side projects rooted in photography have become my way to explore ideas more freely, encouraging experimentation, shared learning, community-based creative collaboration. 12 by 12 centred on building an open, supportive environment where participants could take risks and learn together. In Atomised, that idea extended into the local community through school talks and public engagement.

12 by 12 was a year-long series of photo-challenges set by renowned photographers. Every month a new challenge was issued and members were invited to interpret it. The project was featured by the BBC and Royal Photographic Society.

Atomised was a site-specific art installation created on Bathampton Meadows, which was under threat from development plans. It helped raise media awareness and contributed to the success of a local grassroots campaign.
